The Bafang M510 is a compact CAN-bus torque-sensing OEM mid-drive for eMTBs. Rated 250W with 110 Nm of torque, it spins up to 120 RPM cadence, runs 36–48V, and weighs just 2.9 kg. It uses the Bafang CAN protocol over a triangle connector and is NOT compatible with UART BBS displays. IPX6. Crank interface is a Bafang proprietary spline (NOT ISIS) on a 104 BCD 4-bolt spider accepting 32–40T chainrings; it requires a purpose-built frame with motor mounting tabs and is not retrofittable to a standard BB-shell bike.
